The trip across the Solent to Cowes can take as little as 15 minutes (even fully loaded, the RIBs can travel at up to 35 knots - great fun!). If you are travelling on to the Isle of Wight festival, there will then be short ride up the Medina River to the Island Harbour Marina which lasts another 10 -15 minutes.  The festival site is a 5 minute walk from the drop off point.
Each Rib takes 8 guests, leaving room for personal baggage and camping gear.
If you can carry it, you can bring it!
Every effort should be made to make your agreed pre-booked time slot for travel to and from the Island. Due to the nature of the service, alternative time slots cannot be guaranteed. However, where possible we will try to accommodate you on a later time slot.
A RIB is a rigid inflatable boat. Basically this means it has a hard hull (the bit that touches the water), and inflatable collar around the outside for buoyancy at low speeds and stability. They are powered by 225 hp outboard engines (fast!).
We have arranged parking at Hamble Point Marina, (which is where the Hamble-based transfers depart and return to / from). Parking for the duration of your stay is priced at £25.00 per car. The site has 24 hour security.
Only if it rains! But no more than if it rains at the festival, there can be spray as the RIB's travel fast! So useful to have your jacket handy.
